Orders are considered valid once full payment is received. We accept ACH, certified checks, credit cards, and cash.
Personal or business checks are not accepted. Payment is required in advance unless terms have been officially set up and approved in writing for a company or individual.
– Assembled cabinets: Payment must be received in full before the assembly process begins.
– Stair treads/caps: Payment must be received in full before custom fabrication begins.
– 3D renderings: A $400 deposit is required for any client requesting free 3D renderings. This deposit will be credited back after the cabinet purchase is completed.
Shipping costs are calculated at the time of purchase. Delivery times may vary. Home Connect is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses incurred during shipping. Customers must inspect all deliveries upon receipt and report any damages within 48 hours.
– Residential and liftgate shipping incur additional charges.
– Orders of fewer than 10 stair treads/caps may carry additional shipping charges.
– Cabinets: Returns accepted within 5 days of delivery if products are in original condition and packaging. No returns on assembled or modified products. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Refunds are issued after product inspection. A 20% restocking fee applies to approved cabinet returns.
– Flooring: Returns are not accepted if boxes have been opened. After 10 days from the date of delivery, a restocking fee of $10 per box will be charged. All flooring must be returned in original, unopened packaging and in resalable
condition.
– Stair treads/caps: No returns once items are assembled, bent, modified, or installed. No refunds for shipping once dispatched.
– Refunds (if applicable): Must be requested in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds may be issued as credit toward a future order.
– Cabinets: Include a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Defects do not include: Natural variations in wood grain, texture, or color. Changes caused by humidity, temperature, or local conditions. Stress lines on painted finishes or natural variations in glazed finishes. Damage due to improper assembly, installation, modification, or misuse.
– Flooring: Comes with manufacturer warranties, where applicable. Opened or installed boxes void return eligibility. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the timeline provided by the product manufacturer.
– Carpet: Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within ten (10) days of knowledge of the issue. Claims must include invoice number, product details, and defect location. Adjustments are subject to manufacturer evaluation.
– Cabinets and other products must be inspected at delivery.
– Claims must be made within 7 business days of receipt.
– Freight damage must be noted on the delivery bill of lading.
– Cabinet cancellations must be made within 2 hours of order approval. A $100 change fee may apply after this window.
After processing, cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
We strongly recommend professional installation for all products. Improper installation may void warranties.
– Certain flooring materials may not be suitable for stair treads/caps due to rigidity or thickness. It is the customers responsibility to confirm compatibility before purchase.
– Extra material supplied for stair projects will not be returned and may be recycled.
